
2024 TFPC Scholarship
Purpose:
TFPC Scholarship is designed to reward students who are actively involved in a Christian community, pursuing either pastoral or teaching ministry at a U.S accredited educational institution (Seminary/University). The selection will be based on demonstrated academic achievement and ministry/volunteer experience, financial need, and an expressed interest in serving the Korean-American community.
Criteria / Eligibility:
1. U.S citizen or green card holder
2. Korean descendant
3. Active member of a Christian church with sound doctrine
4. Must be a candidate/enrolled either full-time or part-time at an ATS (Association of Theological Schools) accredited educational institution in the US, in one of the following programs:
M.Div, M.A in Christian Education, Th.M, D.Min, Ph.D. in Theology, Christian counseling or equivalent programs.
5. Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
6. Previous recipients of the TFPC Scholarship do NOT qualify
7. Must complete and submit ALL required documents by the due date
Requirements:
1. Submit an application. The application form can be found below.
2. Short questions (2 pages max, font size 10, double spaced, including questions)
3. Statement of faith (2 pages max, font size 10, double spaced)
4. Letters of recommendations (one academic and one pastoral with dates)
5. Finalists will be required for a virtual interview between 7/30-8/2
- Must submit digital copy
4. Official transcript from the most recent school
- Must submit digital copy
5. Proof of Admission/enrollment (for those starting a program in Fall 2024)
Application due date: July 12, 2024 ,Friday by 11:59pm
Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than August 9, 2024, Friday
