Application & Program Guide
About This Scholarship
The TFPC Scholarship is designed to support students of Korean descent who are actively involved in a Christian community and pursuing pastoral or teaching ministry at a U.S.-accredited seminary or university. The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence, ministry or volunteer experience, financial need, and a strong desire to serve the Korean-American community.

📅 Application Deadline: June 30, 2026
💻 Online Interview (Top Candidates): July 27, 2026
🏆 Announcement of Recipients: August 7, 2026
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (currently living in the U.S.)
• Of Korean descent
• Active member of a Christian church
• Enrolled (full-time or part-time) in an ATS-accredited institution pursuing one of the following degrees:
Master of Divinity (M.Div) | Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E.) | Master of Theology (Th.M)
Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) | Doctor of Philosophy in Theology (Ph.D.) | or equivalent
• Scholarship funds must be used strictly for tuition expenses
• Has NOT previously received a TFPC Scholarship
• Submits ALL required materials by the stated deadline
Application Requirements
The following documents must be submitted:
• Completed application form (Please see the attached file)
• Essay- Personal testimony and statement of faith (theological beliefs, spiritual convictions, perspectives on marriage, and the authority and inerrancy of Scripture)-2 pages max, font size 10, double-spaced, including questions
• Short-answer responses to 3 required questions (see Application Form; 2–3 pages, double-spaced)
• Two (2) letters of recommendation dated this year — one academic, one pastoral (digital submissions required)
• Official transcript from most recent academic institution (digital submission required)
• Proof of admission or current enrollment (for students beginning Fall 2026)

Please note: All submitted documents will not be returned. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to your school.
